  1. Master of Business Administration (MBA)

The objective of the MBA program is to prepare as well as educate students with both the analytical  ability and  knowledge.  MBA  emphasizes  on  management  perspectives  and  skills needed to provide leaders to organizations competing in a world increasingly characterized by diversity in the workforce in order to adapt to rapid technological changes. The MBA is designed to train executives to think strategically and logically as well as to present independent, lateral and sound thoughts. The programme also provides an opportunity to specialize in any of the following areas of management:

    Strategic Development

    Islamic Finance

    Marketing

    Maritime logistics

    Logistics and Supply Chain

Programme Objectives

Upon completion of the MBA, students will be able to achieve the following objectives on each programme.

  1.   Strategic Development

    Students are able to carry out innovation management in organization

    Carry out changes in management of organization.

    Gain knowledge in strategic leadership and decision making.

  1.   Islamic finance

    Implement governance and application of Syariah in Islamic Finance

    Implement Islamic Economics theory and practices in organizations

    Carry out financial Operations and deposits of Islamic banking

  1.   Marketing

    Understand consumer behavior

Gain knowledge regarding international marketing, sales management, sales marketing strategies

    Carry out both tourism and destination marketing.

 

  1.   Maritime logistics and Supply Chain

    Understand and get involved in Modern Port management

    Gain knowledge in Marine Insurance , custom and forwarding agent

    Law of Carriage of goods by sea and Maritime logistics

Minimum number of credits needed for graduation is 48 credit hours.

Entry requirements

  • 2 STPM principal passes with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a pass in Mathematic and English at
    SPM level or any equivalent qualification;
  • 2 A-Level principal passes;
  • 5Bs in Senior Middle Three (SM3 or UEC);
  • Matriculation/ Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 or any equivalent qualification;
  • Any qualifications equivalent to Diploma or Advanced Diploma (Level 4 or 5 MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of
    4.00;
  • International Baccalaureate with a minimum score of 24 point;

  • Pass minimum 2 subjects in subjects in Australian Capital Territory Year 12 with an average of 50%
  •  Pass minimum 2 subjects New South Wales: Higher School Certificate (HSC) with an average of 50%
  • Pass minimum 2 subjects Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE) with an average of 50%
  • Pass minimum 2 subjects Queensland Senior Certificate with an average of 50%
  • Pass minimum 2 subjects South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) with an average of 50%
  • Pass minimum 2 subjects Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) with an average of 50%
  • Pass minimum 2 subjects Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) with an average of 50%
  •  Pass minimum 2 subjects Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE) with an average of 50%
  • Pass minimum 2 subjects South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with an average of 50%
  • Pass minimum 2 subjects Tertiary Entrance Education (TEE) with an average of 50%

 

Note: International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.5 for IELTS or its equivalent
