Programme Overview

Students will undergo an industrial attachment programme at an approved organization in their final semester after completing all other courses. This course is an integral part of the related program curriculum, enabling students to undergo structured, supervised learning experiences that enhance the knowledge gained in previous courses, connecting the theoretical with real world applications. At the end of the training period, the students have to submit a report on the work that has been carried out.

Programme Objective

The objectives of the programme are as follows:
Demonstrate ability to identify and articulate self skills, knowledge and understanding confidently and in a variety of contexts.

Demonstrate ability to manage personal performance to meet expectations and demonstrate
drive, determination and accountability.
Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and confidently and listen critically.

Entry Requirement
Passed in A level (MQF level 4) or equivalent
AND
Passes in (two) 2 subjects at A level include Mathematic and any Computing / Science
subject;
Candidate without Mathematics must go to a bridging program, and pass the pre-
Mathematics subject with a minimum of grade C.
Other qualification (equivalent to MQF Level 4) from any Institution of Higher Learning
(recognized by UITM senate).

Language Requirements:
Pass in recognized English requirement from applicant’s respective Institution; OR
Pass the Test of English Language as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) at least 550; OR
Pass the international English Language Testing System(IELTS) at least 5.5; OR
Pass the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) at least Band 3.

Specific Program Requirements:
Two GCE ‘A’ Level Passes including Mathematics and Computing / any Science subject
Any diploma certification related in Computer Science is qualified to apply for this program

Any diploma certification related in Science and Technology field of student is eligible to apply for this program.
