COURSE AIM & OBJECTIVES:


Aim:
To develop intermediate language and communication skills in Arabic.

Objectives:

  • To listen, understand and engage in a variety of real life conversations in Modern Standard Arabic.
  • To read and understand a variety of Arabic texts in Classical and Modern Standard Arabic.
  •  To write different types of essays and compositions in Modern Standard Arabic.

  • Combination of Classical, Modern Standard and Quranic Arabic.
  • Syllabus designed according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Language)

  • Textbooks & Materials: Al-Mufeed part 3, Al-Qawaa’id & E-Resources.

 

THIS COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR:

i. Students who aspires to pursue higher studies in Arabic language at tertiary level.
ii. School leavers who wish to obtain a recognized certificate in Arabic Language for the job market.
iii. Arabic learners who desire to enhance all language skills, especially listening and speaking skills.

CERTIFICATE & RECOGNITION

  • MQA/HRDC approved.
  • Certificate of achievement issued by MCEM.
  • Option of sitting for international exams after completion of the course.

DURATION: 45 hrs (15 sessions of 3 hrs)
